[[OBS]]

OBS rocks man!!! i dun care wat the others tink. wat my watch mates tink, i tink it totally rocks and pwns man. so inspirational, so exciting, so fun. FUN yes FUN! a lot of ppl frm Raleigh(my watch) and Raffles(bro watch) dun like it, but i tink wat the instructors said is rite, as long as u have a gd attitude and an open heart, u will enjoy it very very much. i certainly did, oso cos i went thru camps much worse dan dat, so i am enjoying how slack it was.

Raleigh is named after the english explorer Sir Walter Raleigh. He was an explorer, but oso a spy too, how cool man. and i tink u all noe raffles and hu is he lah. if u dunno really go n kill urself.

anyway the 1st dae is nothing much lor. just sum admin stuff. n seat in the small small MPH (multi purpose hall). den afternoon keep on got spells of rain. we were introduced to kayaking and had our 1st taste of it. the capsizing drill is gay. purposely capsize boat. n we got alll wet(duh). den lionel lost his specs during the drill. damn suay, 1st dae no specs liao. spend the rest of the camp without specs. so cannot c properly the rgs girls. sad for him(he admitted it personally).

2nd dae is our sea ex liao. but bloody hell got cat 1 rain, so cannot go out. suppose to go out at 7 but set off at 9. wtf. so we had to cut short our journey cos we were suppose to cut thru ubin in this swamp cum river. but we must finish dat part by 2pm or else low tide, den all mud n impossible to kayak. n cos of de 2hr delay we have to just make do wif sum farni kayak arnd a island n go straight to de other camp. den on the sea we saw rgs girls cheering. dunno doing wat. at 1st me n japheth tot is boys, den we saw girls. den i rmb dat rgs always cheer on a low tone. haha. nick yun was like damn tired, den cannot paddle anymore. he saw the girls n tot"chey boys lah". den after a while he threw the paddle into the water "I SEE A PONYTAIL!!!" for the rest of the journey he was veri veri energized. lol. dats wat i heard lah. den me n japheth got stuck on dis gay rock. it is huge, den the surface is underwater by like 30cm or so. so cannot c. den we kayaked den suddenly we move up n stop. i was seriously damn scared cos i tot is sum sea animal n capsize our kayak or sumting. we reach at 1pm wtf. kayak only 3 hrs when it is suppose to b like 7hrs. wtf. i really wanna go dat swamp!!! ah screw it. den the campsite is like the official campsite of OBS singpore. wtf. so nice, wif clean toilets n gd facilities. rgs using it n slping dorms. wtf. den ri using some shit place miles away. wtf. walau. we mobile sum more. walau.den we had rations and had to cook our own dinner. dey get to eat canteen food!!! walau! sexual discrimination lor!!! den in the afternoon we did rockclimbing. n matthew chua reached the top!!! omg. the one in the middle one wich is damn hard wif the overhang n stuff.

3rd dae is we do sum more climbing in the morning. den after lunch, we set off for our land ex in the afternoon. haha, on the way out saw yanhan returning from deir land ex. she looked damn tired. tried to catch her attention and said hi but nvm. haha. anyway wif like 15kg on my back it is quite hard to keep a smile too. but after like 1hr got cat 1 rain again...so we went back to camp 2, de one we stayed on the 1st dae. so we seeked shelter dere. den we pitched tents after we cooked our own dinner. den guess wat, just as we finish n reach the MPH, it start raining damn heavily man! walau. den everyone like cheered cos dat means we can slp in the MPH instead of the tents. i dun mind de tents cos ours is perfectly dry. haha. so we slept dere n it was damn cold in the nite. den jon neo kept on tokking abt summoning ghosts n blah blah blah. haha. damn lame lor. den everyone kept asking him 2 stop it in case anyone got disturbed. yah u noe wat i mean.

4th dae even more nothing. slacked whole dae. trapped in the camp cos of rainy spells.

last dae is fun cos we had to crawl in the tunnel. n it was veri inspirational cos angela our instructor called us to reflect n taught us a lot of tings. we tokked abt our goals n wat we wanna achieve. haha. really nice. but sum of us not serious enuff. sad lor. den we board the ferry n went back to ri n eat lunch at J8 n went home.

truthfully speaking i really really miss OBS. it taught us so much. n i really got to noe a lot more ppl in 3L better. yep it helps in de bonding. but i tink we really lack the enthusiasm. i read sum frenz blog n walau the galz seem more on dan the guys lor. wtf. dey were so happy n united. n sum times some of us just slack off. wth. i admit i slack off once oso. so i tink we really need it. i wanna thank angela for teaching us so many tings, thank OBS, thank kurt han for starting OBS, n thank ri for organizing dis. haha, come to tink of it. OBS was started to teach young sailors in world war two to survive in the wild by the german kurt han n his fren. cant rmb just go read wikipedia on OBS. if hitler didnt start the war we wont have OBS haha. mebbe only. unqualified generalization. fallacy. haha. anyway i miss obs, no matter wat u ppl tink. i am siao or wat. wateva. haha.
