[[DMP continues]]

yesterdae finished 2 modules. logic and paradoxes, and philosophy of science. woah both cheem like hell. 1st one is damn siao. mathematical logic. wich means like find proofs and etc. dat 1 i'm damn weak. den the ws is seriously cheem. damn hard to comprehend and the conjunctions they use confuse u even further, apart from the tons of facts thrown at u. i shall highlight an eg of the qn in our worksheet:

"it is not true that if martians are green then they either have three heads or else they cannot fly, unless it is also true that they are green if and only if they can fly, and that they do not have 3 heads." assuming that all martians look alike and that they have at least 1 of the 3 characteristics (3 heads, green, can fly), determin their characteristics.

i was like OMGWTFBBQ!!! i'm sure how to solve. well according to ms beatrice cho, the working or equation to this qn would b that:

take g to be green,
h to be 3 heads,
f to ability to fly

[g-->(h v ~f)] --> [(g <-->f)^(~h)], where the 'v' is an inverted '^'.

wtf lah, even if i understand all the symbols use i will take a loooong time to digest the equation. n smart ms cho said, ok guys u can go home and tink abt it. really smart move.

den filo of sci anotehr killer. university topic omgwtfbbq. its like the equation F=ma, philosophers try to define wat 'm' or mass is. omg. den got like a thick stack of notes wich nobody understands. i tried to my best accord to continue reading but after a while i found out dat really got no pt cos really man, i dun understand teh concepts. den we have to state whether we tink medicine is a science and why. woah not easy to support my claim. i c the examples oso didnt help much. zzz.

now both cheem topics are over.

woah siao. damn siao. damn hard. even yuezheng, who is like uber pro in math, says he dunno how to do the ws. number theory is damn BIG branch of math. and it has to do with... numbers. lol. sounds easy but trust me it isnt. wth damn lot of proving, and dealing with prime etc.

eg. wats the remainder when 2002^2001 is divided by 36? den we ggxx. have to use modulus to find. n i find it damn confusing. zzz. den got all dose theories that are yet to be proven, with a prize of like 1 million US bucks if u find the proof. omg. siao. like goldbach's conjecture, and fermat's last theorem and stuff. FYI, it took like 100 years for mathematicians to prove fermat's last theorem. wth...

its just damn complicated number theory.

damn still got chem to do. chem DMP. havent started on chem PT due on fri. just finished math logarithm PT. zzz. have to chiong now... and still got batch project games proposal wth...
